Understanding recent Government changes to early childhood services

Recently there have been significant changes to early childhood services. This affects the Childcare Subsidy (CCS) and immunisation requirements for enrolment.

 

Understanding changes to the CCS

You may have seen in the news that the Australian Government has extended the Early Childhood Education and Care Relief Package (ECEC) until Sunday July 12, 2020. The Relief Package offered free early learning and childcare to families during the early stages of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Understanding changes to the ‘No Jab, No Play’ Policy

From August 2020, children who are not up to date with their immunisations cannot attend early childhood services in South Australia.
